    HipHop widens its horizon: HipPop

    Have you noticed that HipHop songs are becoming more pop? If not, then check out this song “Sugar” by Flo Rida . A former ‘hardcore’ rapper releases a pop/dance/hiphop song which is catchy but defitinely cannot be categorised as HipHop.

    Yes, I do listen to the song now and then. So this is *not* about dissing HipHop I just noticed. It’s not a bad thing because the genre is becoming more and more popular (read: more money). The ‘real’ HipHop is still out there (e.g., PaceWon & Mr Green) and will never die. Thank god!
